Learn to lead.
Give your dog a reason to follow.

Good training is more than teaching commands. It begins with learning how to communicate clearly, build trust, and present yourself as a calm, credible leader your dog can understand.

Ryan Baker teaches you how to create that relationship—then use it to solve behavior problems, reduce anxiety, and build reliable everyday obedience.

A better way to train

Change the relationship.
Change the behavior.

Your dog is always reading you—your body language, tone, timing, energy, and consistency. When those signals are unclear or contradictory, dogs may become pushy, anxious, reactive, or simply unsure of what to do.

Ryan helps you see the interaction from your dog’s point of view. You learn how to communicate in ways your dog naturally understands and how to become a steady, trustworthy presence worth following.

01

Communicate clearly

Learn how your timing, posture, voice, rewards, and boundaries work together to tell your dog what you mean.

02

Build real trust

Become consistent and dependable so your dog feels secure, pays attention, and looks to you for guidance.

03

Lead with confidence

Present yourself as calm, fair, and capable—without frustration, nagging, or turning every interaction into a contest.

04

Solve the real problem

Address the patterns underneath unwanted behavior, not merely the visible symptom in the moment.

Ryan Baker

Experienced with dogs. Patient with people. Focused on what will work in your real life.

Ryan has been helping dog owners build better relationships with their dogs since 2008. He began his professional training after completing the Master Trainer program at the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Ohio and has continued learning from experienced trainers around the country.

His work goes beyond giving a dog commands. Ryan helps owners understand temperament, breed tendencies, exercise needs, behavioral drives, and the subtle ways their own habits can either create confusion or provide security.

The result is practical training shaped around the dog and family in front of him—not a rigid formula applied to every household.

Common questions

A clear place to begin

You do not have to diagnose the problem or know which service you need before calling. That is what the free phone consultation is for.

Call 732-788-4437
Can a video consultation really solve a behavior problem?

Yes. For many issues, the most important work is helping the owner understand why the behavior is happening and changing the way it is being handled. A video consultation gives Ryan time to ask questions, observe what can be shown, explain the underlying pattern, and give you a specific plan. It is also especially useful for puppy raising and general dog-ownership guidance.

Will you train my dog, or will you train me?

Both—but lasting results depend on what happens after Ryan leaves. He will work with your dog when useful, demonstrate techniques, and then coach you so that your communication, timing, and expectations remain clear in everyday life.

Can training help an anxious dog?

Clear communication, dependable routines, appropriate boundaries, and trustworthy leadership can help many dogs become calmer and more secure. Ryan will also tell you when a concern appears to require veterinary or other specialized help in addition to training.

Do you work with puppies and newly adopted dogs?

Yes. Early guidance can prevent months or years of avoidable problems. Ryan can help with household structure, socialization questions, common puppy behavior, expectations, and the foundations of a healthy relationship.
